What is a "true" English Cream?

True English Creams have English heritage! English Creams in the US descended from a dog in England, English Champion, Kizzhar Kalvacade. He produced this beautiful color, which led to English Creams produced in England. and later imported by breeders in the US, Canada, South Africa, and Japan. Our dogs originate from the Kizzhar Kalvacade lines, through the Ralines line in England. This is evidenced in our pedigrees noting "UK".

Our dogs are descendants of Canadian and US Champion, Raline's Barrow Boy, whom was imported from England to Canada by Shirley Thompson, of Sniffntells Kennel in Ontario, Canada. We are preservation breeders and have worked very hard for more than 20 years to keep this line true to its original roots. These dogs are born with a dark overlay, but turn blonde by age 6 months. True English cream have shaded ears, tails, dark eyeliner around the eyes, and all black toenails. Our creams have excellent conformation, including beautiful heads, top lines, strong bone, correct movement and pigment.

The most important trait from our line is their calm temperment. Temperament is EVERYTHING. This is what we want to preserve in addition to their beautiful color and coat.

We are very fortunate to own this beautiful line. These show/breeding quality dogs have a proven championship history in both the US, Canada, and abroad.

Why does any of this matter if I just want a pet?

It matters if you want a sound, beautiful pet, with an incredibly sweet temperament. It matters if you are interested in a dog from the original "true" English Cream lines from England!!!

There are no words to describe how much we loved Squire. He was the sweetest, most loving dog. We are so fortunate to have been offered the opportunity to own him by Shirley Thompson. This was truly life changing. His beauty, but more importantly the influence of his temperament on our Dachshund line, has allowed us to bring joy to so many families over the years.
